Welcome to Organic Denmark!
Organic Denmark is a non-profit member organisation. Our aim is to increase knowledge about organics among Danes, to boost organic production and sales in Denmark, and to promote sales and exports of Danish organic growers and producers.
Since many years, Denmark has a pioneering role in the organic production. Likewise, Danes lead the way when it comes to the consumption of organic products. Despite all crisis statistics state: The consumption of organics in Denmark has risen steadily by more than 80 per cent since 2003.

On this site, you can explore who we are, what we do and get some other interesting facts about Danish organics.
You can meet us and a range of Danish organic producers personally at our common Danish stand at the annual BioFach trade fair in Germany - the world's largest organic food fair, where Denmark was awarded "Country of the Year" in 2009. Ever since, Danish organics have increasingly gained international attention.

Denmarks joint stand is implemented by Organic Denmark Export with subsidy from the EU and the Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Rural Development Programme. The event is being carried out in collaboration with Organic Denmark.
