Over the years Organic Denmark has carried out consumer surveys in order to better adapt organic products to the needs of consumers. The latest analysis is from autumn 2009. Today traditional segmentation whereby the market is categorised according to demographic data often falls short of the task of accurately defining consumer needs. This is because we are seeing an ever growing diversity in relation to consumer choice and a growing tendency towards individualisation in terms of consumption and demand.
